What's the difference between the man-and-van service and a classic move?
The man-and-van service is for fast, smaller-volume transport: with 1 or 2 loading staff, billed hourly, we bring or take your furniture or a few boxes.
A full move is a bigger job: with a 3.5-tonne truck and a 2–3-person team, we pack, transport and set up the entire contents of a flat or office at the new location.
How much does the man-and-van service or moving cost?
The man-and-van service is HUF 12,000/hour with 1 person, HUF 16,000/hour with 2 people, and the first hour of call-out is free.
A full move with a 3.5-tonne truck is HUF 19,500/hour with 2 staff, or HUF 24,500/hour with 3 staff. You'll find the exact rates on the full price list.
What kind of items can be transported with the man-and-van service?
Almost anything that one or two people can safely move, from a few pieces of furniture to larger appliances.
If you need to transport the entire contents of a whole flat or office, it's worth choosing the full move package instead.
Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture, or just handle transport?
Alongside transport and loading, disassembling and reassembling furniture and more delicate items, as well as protective wrapping, are also part of the service.
We can add packing and unpacking boxes, or taking down and putting up pictures and light fixtures, on request.
Do I need to get boxes or packing materials myself?
Not necessarily — we also offer boxes, protective film, stretch film and other packing materials, which you can pick up at the same time as delivery.
If you'd rather pack yourself, that's fine too — transport and loading remain our job either way.
Can the man-and-van service or moving be combined with storage?
Yes, this is one of the most popular combinations: if not everything needs to go to the new place right away, we simply place the surplus into storage in our warehouse, and deliver it when you need it.
This means you don't have to solve everything at once during a move or a bigger furniture purchase.
